The stoneburier is an excellent tool for tilling soils that contain a lot of small stones, up to about 2 1/2 inches in diameter. It also breaks new ground well, turning areas that are covered in sod into garden seedbeds in as little as one pass.
Its counter-rotating tines work together with steel rods to push stones, sod and roots to the bottom of the tilth, leaving the surface finely tilled and ready to plant. No raking is necessary of tilling with the stoneburier. A mesh roller optionally attaches to the rear of the stoneburier to press and flatten the surface of the soil.
The depth of tillage is adjustable up to 6 inches, and the working width is approximately 25 inches.
The stoneburier can be used with any of our Professional Series tractors.
