Designed for landscaping use, the Dethatcher removes thatch from turf and lawn areas in a single pass, resulting in healthier, more vigorous lawns and turf. Like all BCS equipment, it’s built to last.
Thatch consists of dead grass, leaves, stems and other organic material. These tend to build up in the lawn, hindering the growth and health of your lawn grasses. When you remove thatch, the grass is able to get oxygen and water more readily. This leads to deeper root growth. As a result, after dethatching, your grass will become thicker and healthier.
The Dethatcher has 48 blades which swing freely on three vertically rotating rods. The blades are reversible, which doubles their working life.
A full-width roller in the front serves to control the blade depth and enables you to dethatch evenly. A swivel joint near the PTO connection enables the implement to “float along,” following the contour of the ground.
Blade assemblies are easy and quick to change, and you can convert to different rotor styles if desired.
